Retro is one of my favorite trends in graphics design. I really like the modern designs stylized as retro. Recently i'm seeing a lot of designs in retro style. This applies to both web projects and the traditional media, especially the posters. A lot of companies decide for visual identification maintained in retro style.

Deciding for logo in retro style company often want to refer to the tradition by using a logo that could be created some time ago. Old looking logo suggest to customers that they are dealing with a company with tradition. It can raise the level of confidence in the company.

The overall theme of showcase are minimalistic wallpapers with vector illustration.

Personally, I love wallpapers made in this style. They take little work space. They are very colorful and quite funny. Most of those images serwed for some time as background of my desktop.

404 pages function is to inform the user that there isn't any website under given address. This is usually presented as a simple message explaining what happened and redirecting you to the home page. But not always.

Some web developers concluded that creative approach will be better and more effective. They create funny and unconventional 404 pages. Main point is that Internet users will be less frustrated when they click on the dead link and instead of a simple message they will see something funny or interesting.
