Inspiration 7 - Youtube & Vimeo

Short films are one of my favorite sources of inspiration. In recent years, there is a huge increase of online videos. YouTube launched only five years ago and now it is one of the icons of the Internet. Large numbers of YouTube videos have poor quality or were done by unexperienced amatures. Besides that, there are a lot of film trailers, video bloging (talking heads), music videos, or advertising ... and much, much more.

However, among the millions of recordings trivial sneezing pandas, falling people and laughing Babies You can find real work of arts. Interesting & creative videos filmed by people with passion, experienced amateurs or professionals pursuing their own projects in their spare time.

In addition to YouTube, which is the largest and most popular video service on the Internet, I recommend visiting Vimeo.com. Due to its size and huge amount of videos on YouTube is really difficult to find a creative and inspiring. Vimeo on the other hand is more intimate and users comunity seems to be focused more on artistic & creative videos.

Below you can check out collection of my favorite videos from both sites. Those are the movies that somehow inspired me. I am confident that both Youtube and Vimeo have many more wonderfull videos and inspiring videos that i haven't stumble upon yet.
